AcceDe Web is a joint initiative to create open source basis detailed instructions for making websites accessible, written for the first time from the perspective of each of the key stakeholders involved in web site development (designer, front-end developer, rich-interface developer, project manager etc).
Those guidelines aim at making WCAG easier to understand and implement.
The project includes representatives of disabled people associations, accademic institutions, 10 of France’s leading companies, web agencies and web professionnals. It is coordinated by Atalan, a consultancy specialized in eAccessibility and disability awareness. More about the AcceDe Web initiative .
